Walter Nusbaum

Walter Nusbaum is President of The Nusbaum Group and the author of “Do You Have What It Takes?” and “The Sink: Radical Transformation With One Small Change”

 

Walter is a highly sought after speaker who travels all over the country speaking on leadership development, driving higher levels of employee engagement and the art and science of shaping organizational culture.  He has spent the past 20 years speaking to and working closely with senior executive teams, managers/supervisors and non-profit organizations of all sizes.   From the small private firm to the Fortune 100 corporation, Walter takes key growth strategies and helps to implement them in order to drive greater growth and productivity.   

 

Walter’s academic background is in strategic management, philosophy and leadership development.  He lives in Denton, Texas with his wife Stacey and their 4 children.

Stacey Nusbaum

Stacey Nusbaum is a Registered Nurse with a BSN and over 20 years experience in a wide variety of clinical settings.  Her experience in the healthcare industry has given her the opportunity to attend to the many needs of patients and doctors as well as learning to work effectively with a wide variety of management teams in high stress environments. 

 

Stacey spent 5 years working for the largest privately owned Third Party Administrator in the Southwest developing customized wellness solutions, cost management services and organizational trainings for a wide variety of companies both large and small.  In 2013 Stacey joined The Nusbaum Group and has focused on coaching and training as a means to help people get to the next level of their personal and professional life.  

 

With her background in coaching and training, her certification in the Social Styles Assessment Diagnostic along with her certification in workplace conflict mediation from the Mediation Training Institute, Stacey is uniquely skilled at helping leaders at all levels work more effectively with their customers and teams.

 

On a personal note, Stacey has competed in the sport of Triathlon for nearly 20 years and won 2nd Place in her division in her first Ironman distance race in 2015.  She has shown herself to be an accomplished nurse, coach, trainer and athlete as well as a highly impactful speaker.   Stacey understands what it takes to be successful no matter what you set your mind to.

Todd Burgess

Todd is a senior leadership coach with a specialty in leadership development and change management. Through his speaking, coaching, workshops and mastermind groups, he has worked with CEO’s, senior leaders and professionals spanning the breadth of Fortune 500 companies to small business entrepreneurs. 

 

He runs his own coaching and leadership development practice, Logos Performance Group. Todd holds a B.S., Chemistry from Baylor University and an M.B.A. from the University of Denver in Marketing. He is a member of the John Maxwell team and a John Maxwell certified executive coach, speaker, and sales trainer. 

 

Prior to becoming a leadership coach, Todd worked nearly 25 years in the healthcare sector for a Fortune 500 company in multiple key roles including customer sales, sales leadership, policy, government affairs, sales operations and sales training.

Daren Martin

Dr. Daren Martin was born in Louisiana but spent most of his growing up years in Bangkok, Thailand. He started and ran his own company while working on his Master’s degree and eventually his PhD in Psychology. After 20 years of running his own business he sold his company and began consulting Fortune 500 companies on Leadership, Company Culture, Sales Psychology and other topics. He has three grown children and is married to his beautiful wife Elise.

 

Dr. Daren Martin is the author of the bestselling A Company of Owners: Maximizing Employee Engagement, the hand drawn Whiteboard: Business Models That Inspire Action, Beached Whale: Learning to Swim in the New Ocean as well as The Sink: Radical Transformation With One Small Change co-authored with Walter Nusbaum.

 

Dr. Martin’s thought leadership and change strategies in transforming companies earned him the title The Culture Architect. He acts as a Trusted Advisor to business leaders at companies ranging from Fortune 500 to small businesses to create Owner Cultures.

Kati Hanna

Kati Hanna is a seasoned marketing, operations, trainer, and strategic planning consultant and entrepreneur. She has held leadership roles at multiple consulting agencies as well as owned her own business. Kati’s expertise includes marketing and sales consulting, organizational analysis, process improvement, leadership training, strategic planning, franchise development, leadership development, executive coaching, and strategic initiative implementation.

 

She has worked with over 200 growing companies across the country in her 25 years of consulting. Most of her efforts have focused on working with leadership teams to define goals and high-potential growth opportunities; managing key corporate initiatives, marketing efforts and organizational implementation.

 

As an executive coach, Kati serves as a confidential sounding board and advisor to CEOs and senior managers. She is known for her ability to provide important insight as well as concrete action plans for clients to accomplish their goals. This work includes utilizing a variety of self assessments, 360 assessments and ongoing individualized coaching. Kati knows how people tick and businesses function. Her goal is for both people and businesses to be successful.

 

As a trainer, Kati has designed and implemented many customized training and development programs for executive teams and emerging leaders. She has worked individually and corporately with executives from a broad spectrum of organizations and industries. Kati has extensive experience in both the B2B and B2C markets. She has been helping organizations develop their leaders and guiding organizations to leverage their existing people and processes to maximize performance and long-term impact.

 

Kati was the Managing Partner for two major industry growth initiatives for both the Christian publishing and Christian music industries. These industry projects included 22 Christian publishers and 19 Christian record labels. She was part of the founding franchise development team for ATS staffing that later sold to Randstad.

Matt Seward

Matt is a 35 year veteran of growth strategy consulting and founded Innovative Partners in 1987. Much of the proprietary diagnostics and methodologies used by the Company and developed specifically for growth companies, were pioneered by him.

 

Matt has managed hundreds of growth strategy projects. Prior to beginning his business career, Matt pursued a career in political campaigning where he managed a successful campaign for United States Senate. He then served 3 years as Vice President of a large regional advertising and marketing agency.

 

Matt was co-founder of Inc. Magazine’s Growth Strategy Consulting Group where he was a Senior Consultant and frequent speaker at Inc.’s national conferences.

Piper Winsett

Piper Winsett, a recent graduate of Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, has explored diverse areas within the field: from learning fundamentals and experimental cognition to developmental and abnormal behavior, along with human neuropsychology and statistical methods. Beyond these foundational courses, she’s also focused on courses directly relevant to I/O Psychology, including Organizational, Social, and Research Methodologies.

During her time at TCU, she worked on-campus as a Social Psychology Research Assistant aiding in the experimental process of scientific investigations into real-world problems. Infatuated with research and driven by her passion for supporting others in their self- improvement journey, Piper aims to pursue a Ph.D. in I/O Psychology to delve even deeper into workplace dynamics. Currently awaiting acceptance into I/O graduate programs, Piper remains dedicated to continuous learning and is eager to learn more about the field with the help of her mentors, Stacey and Walter.
